Exploring Home: The Wines of Santa Barbara County - January 2025
LIVE CLASS: January 23, 2025
We started our Wine Society 3 years ago, and we have taken our members all over the world and highlighted some of the best regions the United States has to offer. As two Santa Barbara natives we were lucky to grow up with one of the most unique wine areas in the world right in our backyard. Santa Barbara County boasts a wide variety of micro-climates that grow an amazing selection of wines. It has everything, from the cool Sta. Rita Hills growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to the hot and dry reaches of Happy Canyon growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. In this class we will hand select 3 bottles that highlight what makes this region so special and demonstrate why this should be everyone's first choice to visit in California.
Class price includes 3 bottles of wine, live virtual class, recording of the class available the next day and handmade class materials.
Class FAQs
Can I split the price of this class and the wines with some of my friends or family?
Absolutely! While our system only allows us to have one person check out and pay for the class and the wines, we would love to see more of you, your friends, and your family taste and join us during our live class.
Do I have to open all 3 bottles during the class?
No, you don’t have to open all 3 bottles during the live class. You can open them all and taste along with us, open during the class, or not open anything and just learn about the wines and open them whenever you’re ready to enjoy them.
What happens if I can’t join the class live?
While we always love to have you there with us live, don’t worry if you aren’t able to make it for some reason. We will send out a recording of the class to everyone the next day. That means you can watch on your own time and re-watch whenever you want! And if you have any questions while you’re re-watching we’re always here for you. Reach out via email or on social media and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
