2021 Thacher Rosé of Cinsaut
Thacher Winery was started by husband and wife team Michelle and Sherman in 2004. Ever since they have been hand crafting wines from superb vineyards found on the Westside of Paso Robles and in Southern Monterey county.
This wine is made from 100% Cinsaut, a red grape native to France but also used quite prominently in the wines of South Africa. This rosé is very light in color it almost doesn't look like a rosé but more like a white wine with tinges of cooper at the edges. This is light and crips with notes of rose petals, kiwi, melon rind, strawberry starburst and a touch of salinity.
