Karen Steinwachs well known as one of the first female winemakers in Santa Barbara County heads up Buttonwood winery in the Santa Ynez Valley. She started Seagrape winery as a passion project with her husband, both of whom have a love of the cooler climate varietals Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This Pinot Noir has bright acidity and a soft spicy character representative of the famed vineyards of the Sta. Rita Hills.
