Sipisode 2: Wine Fundamentals Series - Wine Service and Glassware

We're continuing our wine fundamentals series with some important information about the best temperature to serve your wines, the best glasses to drink them from and a few other wine essentials that we recommend. Grab a glass of your favorite and sip along with us!

Wine Service Temperatures:

Sparkling wines - The recommended serving temperature is 40°F to 50°F degrees.  Sparkling wine is served cold because it gets a delicious crispness and preserves the bubbles.

White & Rosé Wines - Serve cold between 50°F to 60°F. That said if you leave the bottle on the table while you're eating aromas will change as the wine warms up.

Red Wines -  Reds are best served just below room temperature from 65°F to 68°F. Red wines tend to also benefit from a bit of aeration so open that bottle anywhere from 30 - 60 minutes before you're ready to serve.

Glassware and Essentials:

In this episode we're also breaking down the best glass to have on hand for all of your wine drinking. And here's a hint, you only really need one style of glass to enjoy your wine.

Plus we'll let you know the other essentials we think you should have on hand including some very strong opinions that we have on which wine key you should use.

Listen the episode now and then let us know what you think! What are your go to wine essentials?

Cheers!
